The St. Louis Business Journal’s 2016 Healthiest Employers: Working on Wellness
Vince Brennan | Print Editor – St. Louis Business Journal
The 25 companies profiled in this week’s issue of the St. Louis Business Journal have a fresh outlook on wellness. In fact, their efforts in improving workplace health earned them a spot on the list of 2016’s Healthiest Employers in St. Louis.
More so, the winners in each of the five size categories, organized by the number of total employees, go above and beyond in their wellness programs. And employees have recorded serious results.
From easing back pain to health screenings that have identified cancer and the countless number of pounds lost in between, these programs are promoting a healthy lifestyle and employees are better for it.
These companies submitted information about their wellness programs to Healthiest Employer LLC, which uses an online assessment to determine an organization’s commitment to its employees’ health and wellness.
In this issue, readers will find large and small wellness initiatives that business owners can try in their own workplace.
